
Full Bio:
Lucinda Poy is a Boorloo (Perth) based, and Meanjin (Brisbane) raised rising Pop artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Her musical influences are a fusion of Pop, Alternative and Indie, shaped by artists alike Maggie Rogers, Lizzie McAlpine, and Spacey Jane.
In 2024, Lucinda released her debut Indie-Pop Rock single Just Fine (15k Spotify) (Prod. Charles Heinrich), and her follow-up single Selling Out (Prod. Dylan Ollivierre), which was shortlisted for Top 20 WAM pop songs of the year, and gained editorial success on Apple Music Playlists ‘New in Alternative’ and ‘New in Indie’. Additionally, Lucinda headlined shows across Perth, Brisbane, and Busselton (Music Artist Tour, 2024), performed solo at 4-nearly sold out shows at the State Theatre, and performed a duet of Silent Night live with Dami Im at her Christmas Songbook Show (Brisbane Powerhouse, Sold Out).
Liar (prod. Baden Ralls), released on August 22nd, has accumulated nearly 60k streams on Spotify, and was added to Spotify editorial playlists Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Pop, and Fresh Finds AU & NZ. Poy has a growing international audience in the US, and 3k monthly listeners on Spotify, but is presently focused on growing her relationship with the Australian industry and the scene in Boorloo.
Since moving to Western Australia, Poy has immersed herself in the local music scene, holding her debut headline show at the Indian Ocean Hotel (2024, 118 tix), performing Liar on Channel 7’s Telethon, opening for and performing with Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse, and performing at her latest headline show at Lyric’s Underground. Over the last year, Poy has also performed on stage with artists Ainslie Wills and Ben Abraham, featuring her original music & heartfelt storytelling.
Looking forward, Poy will be furthering her digital reach & artist engagement, collaborating with The Awakened Creative (Alex Love) for her social media pages, releasing more pop singles and working towards releasing her debut EP in 2026.
